Join us this July on the beautiful coast of Barahona, located on the southern border of the Dominican Republic, a unique tropical island connected to Haiti!
Together with our international partners and other team members it is our desire that you experience the Gospel first hand…as living testimonies!
There are four church districts that your Quiet Hour team will be ministering in, including:
- Barahona Getsemaní
- Paraíso
- And two different locations in Batey
About the Dominican Republic
More than 50% of the island population is Catholic and the Adventist Church has been working hard to share the Gospel of a personal Jesus with the inhabitants of this beautiful island. What could be better than seeing the wonder of God’s handiwork in nature and sharing Jesus with incredible people who are eager to learn about His love?
Construction Project
Morning health clinics are always a part of what we do. It is also our desire to put able hands towards a local church project designated by the district pastor. The projects are numerous so we eagerly await information from South Dominican Conference President Carlos Rilio on what this task will be!

Here’s what you need to know about this mission trip! When you go on a QHM mission, we keep your expenses to a minimum. Our trips are unique because your donation cost not only goes to outreach costs, it also covers all of these things: your airfare, delicious vegetarian meals, in-country lodging, trip insurance, local transportation, team t-shirts and the exciting team outing!
