Marketing Specialist – Social Media (Half-time)



Assists the marketing department in planning, creating and publishing social media and other web content. This individual will plan and draft visual and written posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the QHM website and blog. They are primarily responsible for managing the web content calendar and getting final approvals for publishing.

This is a half-time position for approximately 19 hours per week, starting September 1, 2020. The schedule can be set for working two days per week for 9.5 hours each day, or working four days a week at 4.75 hours each day, Monday through Thursday. This is an on-site position working in Redlands, California. The marketing specialist reports to the marketing director.



Requirements for the successful candidate include:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and content methods
  • Ability to write and edit various types of web content
  • Demonstrated ability with common marketing/communication software (Adobe Creative Suite, website CMS, publishing platforms, etc.)
  • An aptitude for quickly learning new technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in managing website and social network content
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under a deadline
