2021 Coronavirus Update: Click to read

You are eager to get you back in the field and so are we. But due to current testing requirements and travel guidelines, it would not be reasonable to send mission teams this year. Unfortunately, all 2021 trips are being postponed until the situation changes. If you would like to stay updated on the status of possible trips, please submit an I’m Interested form.

Gimbie, Ethiopia

Today, Africa is the continent where the gospel message is spreading most rapidly. Thousands are joining the Adventist church every year in countries across the continent. And while that’s incredibly good news, it’s also true that the number of yet unreached people in African countries is still staggering!

This October, you can join a QHM mission team to Gimbie—an area of Ethiopia where we have not yet served. There are great needs for evangelism, clinics and construction to support and grow the church community there. That’s why you’re needed!

When you arrive in Gimbie, you’ll discover the amazing way of life that the rural people have in this part of the world. Gimbie is one of only a handful of towns in its zone with electrical power and telephone service! This means that modernization and development is slow going. Can you imagine living in a place like this? The impoverished people are in desperate need of your help and encouragement.

During your mission to Ethiopia, you’ll try new foods, see incredible sights and wildlife, learn about a unique culture and most importantly—meet and share Jesus with the dear people of Gimbie. Sign up now to ensure your spot and join our team in Africa!

Trip Information

Your mission with Quiet Hour Ministries focuses on personal connection. You will serve alongside local church members to minister to precious people in their communities. Your team member donation completely supplies for you to be on the team, so you won’t have any extra expenses for airfare, lodging, food or onsite transportation. But it’s even more than that! Just as importantly, your contribution also increases the impact of the project by helping provide on-site outreach resources, transportation, equipment and more.

Because of your donation, more people will have the opportunity to meet Jesus. You will take home the joy of creating new friendships and building partnerships. You’ll be a witness to the power of the Holy Spirit working in lives throughout the world.
