2020 Coronavirus Update: Click to read

To get you back in the mission field as soon as possible, we are planning trips and dates for 2021. Our team is prepared for each trip and will be ready to send you as soon as we have confirmation that it’s reasonably safe and possible to go. Given the fluidity of conditions during COVID-19, we will keep you updated if any dates change.

Blantyre, Malawi

September 14-26, 2021

One of the largest mission fields is the continent of Africa. While there is still a huge number of unreached people all across African countries, the gospel is also spreading quickly there—as quickly as Adventists can do evangelism, people are accepting Christ.

It’s been a few years since QHM has sent a mission team to Malawi, but our international partners there are eager to welcome another team of volunteers. Blantyre is the second largest city in the country of Malawi with nearly a million people and is often considered the commercial and industrial capital of the country.

You and the rest of the QHM mission team will be heading to the South Malawi Conference to hold evangelism meetings at five church sites. There is an existing Seventh-day Adventist presence in Blantyre, but the local church has been continuing to share the Adventist message with the community and they want your help!

You will experience a new part of the world and make friends that you’ll never forget. Not only will you be personally blessed, but your time, effort and love are a key part in making new believers feel they are a part of our worldwide community of believers.

Although Blantyre is an economic hub in Malawi, the standard of living and economic opportunity is nothing like we expect in North America. Supporting fellow believers and providing a new and special hope to nonbelievers through salvation is an important work that you won’t want to miss out on in 2021!

Team Member Experience

Though this trip needs to be confirmed before we send team members, we encourage you to register and save your spot! If you’d like to wait until the dates are confirmed to make your donations, you may still register and we will send you updates.

Trip Information

Your mission with Quiet Hour Ministries focuses on personal connection. You will serve alongside local church members to minister to precious people in their communities. Your team member donation completely supplies for you to be on the team, so you won’t have any extra expenses for airfare, lodging, food or onsite transportation. But it’s even more than that! Just as importantly, your contribution also increases the impact of the project by helping provide on-site outreach resources, transportation, equipment and more.

Because of your donation, more people will have the opportunity to meet Jesus. You will take home the joy of creating new friendships and building partnerships. You’ll be a witness to the power of the Holy Spirit working in lives throughout the world.
